Fostering Trust and Authentic Feedback

At Travent, building trust between our valued hosts and guests is at the heart of our mission. We believe in the power of reviews to facilitate informed booking decisions and provide honest feedback to help both hosts and guests improve their experiences. Our reviews policy is designed to maintain the authenticity, trustworthiness, and usefulness of the feedback shared through our review system.

Key Guidelines for Unbiased and Relevant Reviews:

  1. Unbiased Reviews
  • Members of the Travent must not engage in coercive, intimidating, extorting, threatening, incentivizing, or manipulative practices to influence a review. This includes offering compensation in exchange for positive reviews or threatening negative consequences for a negative review.
  • Reviews should not be given or withheld in exchange for something of value, such as discounts, refunds, reciprocal reviews, or promises not to take adverse action against the reviewer. Reviews should also not be used to deceive or mislead Travent or any other person.
  • Reviews are only acceptable in connection with genuine stays or Experiences. This means no fake reservations, self-reviews, or coordinated efforts to manipulate the review system.
  • Reviews should not be used to harm competition. Hosts are not permitted to post biased reviews of listings they are affiliated with or directly compete with.

Relevance of Reviews

  • Reviews must contain relevant information about the reviewer's experience with the host, guest, stay, or Experience. This information should assist other members in making informed decisions regarding bookings and hosting.
  • If a guest did not arrive for their stay or had to cancel due to reasons unrelated to the stay or Experience, their review may be subject to removal.

Following Our Content Policy

  • Reviews must adhere to our Content Policy, which means they should not contain explicit, discriminatory, harmful, fraudulent, illegal, or otherwise prohibited content.

Reporting Violations and Consequences

If you come across a review that violates this policy, please contact us to report it. We take these reports seriously and will investigate accordingly. Violations may result in the removal of the review, including associated ratings and content. Depending on the nature of the violation, we may also take further action, such as restricting, suspending, or removing the Travent account associated with the violation.

Responding to Reviews

While we encourage genuine reviews, we do not mediate disputes regarding the accuracy of reviews. Instead, we provide individuals with the opportunity to respond to reviews within 30 days.

Requesting Removal of a Review

If you have published a review that you wish to have removed, please contact us, and we will assist you accordingly.
